English Name:PBAT
Molecular Formula:C20H30O10
Molecular Weight:430.45
CAS Registry Number:55231-08-8

Uses: PBAT Biodegradable poly(butylene adipate terephthalate) is a petroleum-based biodegradable plastic that stands out as one of the most dynamically researched and commercially successful materials in the field of biodegradable plastics. It serves as a critical solution globally for combating white pollution and functions as an ideal partner when blending with other fully biodegradable materials for modification purposes. PBAT can be processed in various forms such as injection molding, extrusion and blow molding, which is widely used in the production of sheet materials, disposable tableware, agricultural mulching films, 3D printing materials, clothing, packaging and foaming materials. With appropriate modifications, it can also be utilized in specialized fields such as medical devices, optoelectronic chemistry, and fine chemicals.
